Framed silver birch slice with cacti in a jar design.

This is a beautiful unique one of a kind woodburnt silver birch slice, that I have burnt a fabulous variety of cacti in a jar with some detailing in the way of stippling behind it.

All my items are firstly hand sketched with pencil and then handburnt with my Pyrography tool.

The negative space in the jar of this piece has been achieved with the stippling technique which gives it a beautiful texture.

I’ve burnt this design on a silver birch slice which is one of my favourite woods to work on.

I’ve framed this piece in a black shadow box frame and I’ve added a stunning green marble effect backing paper.

The frame measures 20cmX20cm and the wood inside is approx 11cm.
