Hand burnt moon, mushrooms & flower silver birch slice in a box frame

This is a beautiful unique one of a kind woodburnt silver birch slice, I love combining the moon, mushrooms and flowers and that’s exactly what I’ve done on this piece.

All my items are firstly hand sketched with pencil and then handburnt with my Pyrography tool.

The background of this piece has been achieved with the stippling technique which gives it a beautiful texture.

I’ve burnt this design on a silver birch slice which is one of my favourite words to work on.

The moon has been painted with a shimmery watercolour that has a lovely effect and makes it stand out.

I’ve framed this piece a black shadow box frame and I’ve added a stunning galaxy effect backing paper.

The frame measures 20cmX20cm and the wood inside is approx 11cm.
