Midnight mushrooms

Another mushroom burn to add to the mushie collection!

i absolutely love burning mushrooms, the shapes of the them, the different sizes and colours, I find them so magical!

I’ve named this one ‘Midnight Mushrooms’ because the background reminds me of a night sky.

the mushrooms are burnt and I’ve left them just burnt, with the deep blue background making the mushrooms pop.

this design is burnt onto a small silver birch slice, which is one of my favourite woods to burn, it’s such a fabulous wood.

I’ve added a wall fixing in the back so it can be hung up.

This slice measures approximately 7.5cm in diameter and is 1cm thick.
