Daffodil in bloom - yellow background.

This is a new piece in my ‘Forever Flowers’ collection and is inspired by the beautiful daffodils that come to life in the local woodlands.

I have handburnt this daffodil onto a small silver birch slice, Which is a beautiful wood and one of my favourite woods to burn.

I’ve left the daffodil burnt and painted the background in a stunning yellow watercolour, which makes the daffodil really pop.

I’ve added a wall fixing to the back of it so it can be hung on the wall.

it measures approximately 7.5cm in diameter and is 1cm thick.
